ニュージャージー州兵第２１兵器大量破壊市民支援チーム（第２１ＷＭＤ-ＣＳＴ）調査チームメンバーのマウリシオ・カセレス米陸軍曹（右）は、２０２０年６月２５日、ニュージャージー州マクガイアディクス・レイクハースト合同基地での訓練中に、模擬犯罪現場でサンプルを容器に入れた。この演習は、来るべき第21部隊のコレクティブレーン訓練と、毎年行われるアーミーノースの訓練習熟度評価に備えて行われました。シナリオは、マサチューセッツ州アバディーン試験場のエッジウッド化学生物学センターのファシリテーターによって作成された。第21回WMD-CSTは、化学物質、生物学的物質、放射性物質、核物質を特定し、その影響を評価し、対応策について助言することで、人災や自然災害時の市民当局を支援しています。(ニュージャージー州兵、マーク・C・オルセン撮影)
