米国陸軍のスティーブ・B・コバックス一等軍曹（左）、ジュリアン・ロンドンノ二等軍曹、ニュージャージー州兵第21次大量破壊兵器市民支援チーム（21st WMD-CST）の除染チームメンバーは、2020年6月25日、ニュージャージー州マクガイアディクス・レイクハースト合同基地での訓練中に模擬汚染の有無を確認しました。この演習は、21日に予定されているコレクティブレーン訓練と、毎年恒例のアーミーノース訓練習熟度評価のための準備であった。シナリオは、マサチューセッツ州アバディーン試験場のエッジウッド化学生物学センターのファシリテーターによって作成された。第21回WMD-CSTは、化学物質、生物学的物質、放射性物質、核物質を特定し、その影響を評価し、対応策について助言することで、人災や自然災害時の市民当局を支援しています。(ニュージャージー州兵、マーク・C・オルセン撮影)
